Brain tumours are becoming an increasing concern in the UK, with more than 10,000 people being diagnosed with them every year.
They can often be misdiagnosed due to the nature of the symptoms, and how vague the symptoms can actually be. The Brain Tumour Charity even reports that one in three people visit a medical profession more than five times before they receive their brain tumour diagnosis.
Dr Helen Webberley, our resident GP, recently spoke to the Huffington Post about the diagnosis of brain tumours and what symptoms to be aware of. Read what she had to say here.
