How can I help Ukraine?

Along with the rest of the Free World, we were shocked and horrified when we heard of the Russian army waging war on Ukraine.
After getting over the shock and anger, we started to look at how we could help the people of Ukraine. As a Pharmacy, could we send medical supplies to the people who needed it? The answer was to find the organisations on the ground who can directly support the people caught up in this atrocity.
These are the organisations we found who could most benefit the people directly and we'll be using both as individuals and as a company to make donations that will help.
Donating to the Red Cross, will fund food, water, first aid, medicine, warm clothes and shelter.
Doctors Without Borders have been working in the Ukraine for sometime, particularly in Donetsk and Luhansk. They are currently putting in place plans to offer medical kits and humanitarian medical assistance.
3) UNICEF
UNICEF has also been heavily involved in the Ukraine due to the eastern conflict that has continued for the last 8 years. Donations to UNICEF are targeted at keeping the children safe, ensuring that health and protection services are supported and families have clean water and food.
Our hopes and prayers are with the people of the Ukraine during this time and we stand united with everyone condemning this action from the Russian government.
