Gliclazide 80mg 28 Tablets are used to lower blood sugar levels and are used in the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes, in patients whose blood sugar is not controlled by diet alone and who are not suitable for insulin.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in a dry place below 25 degrees celcius.

Make sure you take these tablets exactly as instructed by your doctor.
The usual starting dose is 40mg to 80mg (half to one tablet), your doctor will adjust your dose according to your response to treatment. Total daily dose may vary from 40mg to 320mg. This medicine should be sawllowed whole with water.
If you take more then you are prescribed, you should contact your nearest casulty department or doctor immediately.
If you forget a dose, take another as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, then do not take the missed dose. Never take a double dose to make up for the one missed.

This medicine should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not drink alcohol whilst taking this medicine.
