Sildenafil is exactly the same as the branded version, however the tablets are coloured white instead of blue.
Sildenafil 25mg 8 tablets treat mature men who suffer from erectile dysfunction, also known as impotence, which indicates that the man cannot achieve, or keep a hard, erect penis suitable for sexual activity.
Sildenafil 25mg contains the active substance called sildenafil (as citrate), which is a part of a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. The tablets help the blood vessels in the penis relax, so the blood can easily flow into your penis when you get sexually excited. This medicine will only help you get an erection if you are sexually stimulated.
A private or NHS prescription is required to obtain Sildenafil; this is available through the complete service provided by Oxford Online Pharmacy.
