Clomid tablets belong to the class of medication known as ovulatory agents. It works by causing ovulation to occur. You take 50mg (1 tablet) daily for 5 days, starting on the 2nd day of menstruation (Bleeding). We recommend that you have ovulation blood tests done on day 21 of your cycle. This will tell us whether the Clomid made you ovulate or not so the doctor can decide whether to continue on the same dose or increase the dose. You can purchase an at home 21 day progesterone blood test from us for £25.00. Using the kit provided you take a small finger prick sample of blood on day 21 of your cycle and send it to the laboratory in the envelope provided. The results are then emailed to you.
Directions for us of at home 21 day progesterone blood test: Ensure you complete the label and securely attach to the sample. Pop the labelled sample and the order form into the pre-paid envelope provided which will be sent directly to the doctors lab. Test results will be received within 2-3 working days.
