Leflunomide is a prescription immunosuppressant—a medication that suppresses the immune system.
It is occasionally used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, polyarthritis, and immune-mediated hemolytic anaemia (IMHA) in dogs.
Teriflunomide is converted into its active form in the body by leflunomide, which is how it operates. Teriflunomide particularly inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA in replicating immune system lymphocytes, which are responsible for swelling and inflammation.
The active component in this medication is Leflunomide 10mg.
