Vetmedin Flavoured Tablets are effective in controlling the symptoms of congestive heart failure in dogs, specifically in cases of cardiomyopathy. On an empty stomach, the capsules are quickly absorbed, lowering blood pressure and relieving pressure on the heart by easing artery and vein constriction. Vetmedin increases the heart's efficiency and the ease with which oxygen and nutrients are delivered to internal organs by reducing constriction resistance.
Dogs' lives are significantly extended when the active ingredient, pimobendan, is administered as prescribed by your veterinarian. Clinical symptoms have also improved, such as a decrease in coughing and breathing difficulties which benefits your dog's quality of life.
Vetmedin Tablets are available in three different doses: 1.25mg, 5mg, and 10mg.
The active component in this medication is pimobendan 10mg.
