Wegovy weight loss injections can be ordered online in the UK from Oxford Online Pharmacy to help support healthy weight loss.
How to order Wegovy Injections in the UK
To begin the order process, complete the medical consultation above so the team of independent doctors can assess your suitability for the weight loss treatment.
Once the form is complete, you can select your preferred strength. It is important to note that Wegovy should be gradually increased to minimise the risk of side effects. You must always begin treatment with the lowest dose.
Once approved, a UK doctor will prescribe the medication, which will be sent via special delivery to your chosen address.
What is Wegovy?
Wegovy weight loss injections are used by people who are categorised as overweight or obese to minimise the risk of weight-related health conditions.
If your BMI is over 30 or 27 with health-related comorbidities such as diabetes, you may be eligible for treatment.
Wegovy UK contains the active ingredient Semaglutide, a GLP-1 agonist medicine.[1]
Benefits of Wegovy weight loss injections:
- You should expect to lose up to 17% of your starting body weight
- This might be a good option if you can’t, or don’t want to, take tablets
- Common side effects often stop within a few weeks
- It works by suppressing hunger and makes you feel fuller for longer
- Once weekly injection
- Approved and licenced medicine by the MHRA (Medicines and Regulatory Healthcare Agency)
How does Wegovy work for weight loss?
This weight loss treatment increases fullness and reduces hunger. It mimics a GLP-1 hormone that targets brain areas involved in regulating appetite (hunger) and blood sugar. This can help you eat less and lose weight.
This medicine should be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
Wegovy reduces hunger and increases fullness. According to clinical trials [3], this weight-loss injection can cause you to lose up to 17% of your starting body weight over a year.
Wegovy results timeline
According to a 2022 study [4] of 172 adults who were overweight or obese, the following timeline of weight loss results was observed:
Wegovy 3 months results
- 53.7% of participants lost at least 5% of their initial body weight.
- 14.9% lost 10% or more.
Wegovy 6 months results
- 87.3% lost at least 5% of their initial body weight.
- 54.9% lost 10% or more.
- 23.5% lost 15% or more.
- 7.8% lost 20% or more.
This study demonstrates that treatment with Wegovy results can result in weight loss within three months, with further losses by six months. Results may vary depending on other factors and adherence to treatment.

How to use Wegovy Weight Loss Injections
This medicine is injected once a week in doses that are increased monthly to ease you into treatment. This should reduce the chance of you experiencing side effects.
You should use this medication once a week, preferably on the same day each week. If you need to change the day of the week, you can do so as long as your last dose was administered two or more days prior.
If you use too much Wegovy, you might experience severe nausea, severe vomiting, and critically low blood sugar. Seek immediate assistance from your healthcare provider or go to the nearest hospital emergency room if you encounter any of these symptoms.
How to inject Wegovy
Using the pre-filled pen device and a small needle (provided with every order), you inject your tummy, thigh, or upper arm once a week.
We recommend changing the injection site weekly to prevent bruising or skin irritation. For example, if you inject into your left thigh one week, alternate and inject into your right thigh the week after. Alternatively, you can use the same leg, but inject it into a different area of your thigh.
There are no reports of one area being more successful than the other, so we suggest injecting where it is most comfortable for you.
See the ‘How to use Wegovy pen’ page for more detailed information and a video on injecting.
Wegovy dosage schedule
The Wegovy dosage schedule ensures treatment safety and may reduce the occurrence and severity of Wegovy side effects.
The dosing schedule should only increase in four weekly increments, but this is only a recommendation. You should not increase the dose if you do not need to. The likelihood of Wegovy side effects may increase as you step up your dose, especially if you do this sooner than you need to. So, we recommend staying on a dose you are comfortable with for as long as it’s successful.
For example, if you are using Wegovy 1mg injections and after the 4 weeks, you are still losing weight, we suggest you stay on this dosage until it becomes less effective. A weight loss of 1-2lb a week is a healthy weight loss rate; unless this stalls, you shouldn’t have to increase your dose.
The Wegovy dose schedule is as follows:
Month 1: Start at a dose of 0.25 mg once a week [5]
Month 2: you can increase your weekly dose to 0.5 mg
Month 3: you can increase your weekly dose to 1 mg
Month 4: you can increase your weekly dose to 1.7 mg
Month 5 onward: you can increase your weekly Wegovy doses to the full dose of 2.4 mg
