Vardenafil tablets are the generic version of the brand Levitra. These tablets are an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction, which is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual performance. In order for Vardenafil to be fully effective, sexual stimulation is required. Once the table is taken, it should work within about 30 minutes and the effects will last between 4 - 5 hours. Vardenafil is an Erectile dysfunction treatment recommended for diabetics.
Vardenafil belongs to the group of drugs known as phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors. During sexual stimulation, it increases blood flow to the penis, which is how it functions. An erection may result from this increased blood flow. Vardenafil does not improve sexual desire or treat erectile dysfunction.

How to use Vardenafil Tablets (Generic Levitra) (5mg, 10mg, 20mg)
For oral use and use as directed by your doctor.
Use in adults and elderly: The recommended dose is 10 mg taken as needed approximately 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. Based on efficacy and tolerability the dose may be increased to 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg. The maximum recommended dose is 20 mg. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day. Vardenafil can be taken with or without food. The onset of activity may be delayed if taken with a high-fat meal.
Tell your doctor if you experience Vardenafil's effects as too strong or too weak. He may suggest a switch to an alternative Vardenafil formulation with a different dose, depending on how well it works for you.
If you take too many Vardenafil 20mg tablets, you may experience more side effects or may get severe back pain. If you take more Vardenafil than you should, tell your doctor.

Side Effects of Vardenafil
With any medication you take, there is always a risk of side effects. Some are more common than others, and often side effects may subside with the regular usage of the medicine. If the side effects do not subside, you should report them to us, or your GP.
Common Side Effects
- Headaches
- Flushing
- Runny/stuffed nose
- Upset stomach
- Nausea
- Red and/or warm skin
- Dizziness
- Diarrhoea
- Nose-bleeds
- Muscle pain/Back Pain
The side effects listed below are more serious, and you should stop taking Vardenafil, and report these to your GP immediately.
- An erection that will not go away (priapism). If you have an erection that lasts more than 4 hours, seek medical help immediately. Priapism can permanently damage your penis.
- Sudden vision loss in one or both eyes. Sudden vision loss in one or both eyes can be a sign of a serious eye problem called non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Stop taking Vardenafil and call your healthcare provider right away if you have sudden vision loss in one or both eyes.
- Sudden hearing decrease or hearing loss. Some people may also have ringing in their ears (tinnitus) or dizziness. If you experience these symptoms, stop taking Vardenafil and contact a doctor right away.
