Roisin McHugh — BSc MBBS MRCGP(2002) DGM DCH DRCOG DFFP DPD

Dr Roisin McHugh completed her medical training at Imperial College London (St Mary's Hospital) with an Intercalated BSc from University College London in 1998. She undertook GP training in Derry, gaining MRCGP and diplomas in Care of the Elderly, Child Health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Family Planning.

After working as a GP in Townsville, Australia for two years, where she developed an interest in dermatology treating sun-damaged patients, she returned to London and completed the Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff. She continues working as an NHS GP and has developed expertise as a menopause specialist.

Dr McHugh has provided online healthcare since 2014, spending five years setting up and managing CQC compliance for an online prescribing company. As Clinical Lead at Oxford Online Pharmacy, she oversees the online doctor service, ensuring constant evolution and compliance with national guidelines.

She believes healthcare is provided by humans for humans, with technology simply making quality care more accessible in our busy modern world.
