After a fellow Facebook user's post has gone viral, many are beginning to question what the real difference is between branded over-the-counter health products and the cheaper alternatives available.
Facebook user, Rob Lloyd, recently shared a photo of two cold and flu tablet packets, one being a branded version and one being a supermarket version. He noted that the product licence number (or PL number) was the same on both, leading to the questions: what is the difference, and why are we paying more for one?
