Liv joined us at OxfordOnlinePharmacy in March 2016 from Deddington Surgery as a pharmacy dispenser. She was keen to learn and to push herself, and after her first year she took on the role of customer care manager.
While working, Liv also dedicated time to complete her NVQ3 dispenser qualification, registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician and became our Accredited Checking Technician in 2019. In the same year she became the Dispensary Manager and continued her learning by studying for a degree with the Open University in Health and Social Care.
Competitive by nature but fiercely loyal, Liv was ‘the queen of customer service”. She was totally dedicated to making sure customers received their medications, spending often unseen time and effort answering questions and relaying information within the team to ensure people received their medication without delays.
Passionate and enthusiastic, Liv brought a unique and very much missed energy to the office. Her love for family, friends, and food (always the first to the office cakes!), as well as a keen cyclist - truly inspirational and one of a kind, a real bright-light that would illuminate everywhere she went and all that she did.
In her memory, the OxfordOnlinePharmacy team are undertaking a walk including some of the cycle routes Liv would regularly use. We are raising money for the Banbury and District Samaritans and, if you would like to donate towards this, there is a fundraising page available here.
