Sue Snelling (Pharmacist)

Sue grew up in a family pharmacy business established by her grandfather, developing her interest in pharmacy while working as a Saturday girl. She graduated as a pharmacist from De Montford University in 1991 and completed her pre-registration with LloydsChemist in Stafford.

After registering, Sue worked as a locum to gain diverse pharmacy experience before becoming manager at Lloyds Pharmacy in Yeovil. She was promoted through various roles including District Manager, Professional Development Manager, and Area Manager, gaining exposure to hospital, mental health, prison, and community hospital pharmacy, plus private hospital work.

During her career, Sue chaired Somerset Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) and later became Chair of Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes LPC when she moved to Oxfordshire. Seeking better work-life balance, she returned to community pharmacy and joined Oxford Online Pharmacy in September 2021.

At Oxford Online Pharmacy, Sue focuses on patient safety, working in the dispensary while supporting doctors and customer services to ensure the best and safest service delivery.
