How to Travel with Mounjaro
If you want to travel with your Mounjaro pen(s), there are a few considerations you need to be mindful of.
Storage Requirements for Mounjaro
Mounjaro is temperature-sensitive, and it has to be stored properly for it to be effective.
When it’s at room temperature, it can be stored for 30 days. So if you are taking a short trip, you should be able to carry it with you. However, you should not expose the pen to excessive heat or freezing temperatures or store the medication where temperatures might fluctuate. This can include storing it in the boot of a car or putting it in the baggage hold of an aeroplane.
If you are taking a trip for longer than 30 days or if you know that you’re going to be travelling to a location that is prone to high temperatures, then you may want to invest in a cooler pack or a travel case that will keep your pen cool during travel.
