Starting from humble beginnings, Oxford Online Pharmacy has proudly become one of the UK’s leading online pharmacies providing professional online doctor services. Established in 1925 by John Frost, the Frost Pharmacy Group has continued to develop and grow, now incorporating Oxford Online Pharmacy. As a family-run business, the Frost Pharmacy Group is now owned and managed by John Frost’s Grandson and Chief Pharmacist, Stuart Gale.

Trusted by many, Stuart and the Frost Pharmacy Group are dedicated to serving patients. The Frost Pharmacy Group have consistently provided a quality service that puts the patient first, offering guidance and support from day one. Such examples include utilising the original Sutton Coldfield, John Frost Chemist to demonstrate how to survive a gas attack in WW2 to creating their own Crostleys Cough mixture. In turn, John Frost’s enthusiasm for serving the community and those in need resonates with Stuart, as his authentic vision is seen throughout the service provided by the Frost Pharmacy Group today.
 
For Stuart, the steps to becoming a trained Pharmacist were natural, as he was brought up around the family business from a young age. Stuart fondly describes his memories of working in the pharmacies, as he says “I worked in the shops starting when I was 9 or 10, filling up shelves and helping out wherever I was needed”, further explaining that “I used to wash the medicine bottles on my way home from school when I was about 13.”
 
Having sold the original Sutton Coldfield pharmacies in 2004, three new pharmacies were opened in Banbury and Oxford as part of the John Frost Group. With a fantastic team of people who are continually training to improve their industry knowledge and service skills, the Frost Pharmacy Group now have nine dispensers and three pre-registration pharmacists in training, with six team members put on the General Pharmaceutical Council’s register this year; an achievement that Stuart is extremely proud of.
 
Whilst over the more recent years, the emergence of online pharmacies have evoked a major change in the world of dispensing pharmaceuticals. Prescriptions can be sent electronically and text messages and apps are used as tools to remind patients to take medicines. In turn, www.oxfordonlinepharmacy.co.uk was created as part of the Frosts Pharmacy Group. Taking the original values instilled by his grandfather, John Frost,  Stuart has incorporated quality, old fashioned customer service, expert advice and determination to help every patient to the best of their ability at their online pharmacy.
