Ed is a male in his mid-20s and over the last few years, he has started experiencing male pattern baldness. Roughly one in two men will experience male pattern baldness and while excessive hair loss isn't usually experienced before their late thirties, some men will show significant symptoms far sooner.
As you can see from Ed’s images above, significant hair thinning on the top of his scalp is visible.
After researching hair loss Ed realised that he is at a good stage now to start treatment and that he doesn’t want to leave it any later. In most cases hair loss can be prevented, however, acting early is important. The sooner you start a hair loss treatment the better results you should see, so, the best time to start taking the treatment is when you notice the common signs of hair loss, such as a change in the hairline or scalp or significant hair shedding.
Ed then reached out to us at Oxford Online Pharmacy for advice, hoping for a solution. After a short consultation with one of our health care professionals, a possible solution was offered, Finasteride 1mg tablets. Finasteride is largely accepted as one of the best hair loss solutions for men and by purchasing Finasteride, you can slow down or even stop hair loss. Some men even experience increased hair growth after using the tablets.

Above is an image of the Hamilton–Norwood scale. It is used to classify the stages of male pattern baldness. The scale is regularly used by doctors to assess the severity of baldness. We asked Ed where he thinks he is pre-treatment on the scale, and he concluded number VI due to balding at the back/top of his head and hair thinning at the front.
Ed decided that he wanted to share his journey with us, and after being given the go-ahead, we thought it would be great to share regular updates with our customers too.
So, stay tuned for the next update - we are excited to share his journey with you!
