Yes you can - Nurtec is the brand name for the medicine Rimegepant in the United States and some other areas of the world.
Rimegepant (pronounced Rim-edgy-pant) is marketed in the UK under the brand name Vydura. This means that Nurtec and Vydura are exactly the same medicine, they are given different brand names in different parts of the world. This is not unusual with medicines.
Vydura and Nurtec are both manufactured by a pharmaceutical company partnership between Biohaven and Pfizer, although Pfizer retains the rights for Vydura in Europe.

Vydura is available to order using our online doctor service as 75mg dissolve-in-the-mouth tablets (also called oral lyophilisates). This is the same strength as Nurtec.
How does Vydura work?
At the start of a migraine, a substance in the body called calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) is released by nerve cells in the brain. This raised level of CGRP has been shown to cause the migraine to last longer.
Vydura contains the active ingredient, Rimegepant, that stops the activity of CGRP.
This lowered activity of CGRP has two effects: it can stop an active migraine, and it can decrease the number of migraines that occur when taken preventively.

- Acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults
- Preventive treatment of episodic migraine in adults who have at least 4 migraine attacks per month
