Yes there is. The medicine is called Dapoxetine and it is available in the UK under the brand name Priligy.
Order Priligy with us using our online doctor, complete our quick and confidential health consultation and we’ll have it discreetly delivered to you as fast as the next day.
Priligy costs from around £8 per tablet. If you find it cheaper, let us know and we’ll match it.
At the moment the medicine in Priligy, Dapoxetine, is under patent. This means that only one medicine company in the UK, A. Menarini, is allowed to manufacture it and they set the price.
Dapoxetine is due to come “off patent” in the early part of 2024, this means that other companies will be able to manufacture the medicine creating competition which will cause the price to drop.
Priligy has been shown to delay ejaculation for two to three times longer than normal for 8 out of 10 men who use it1.
The active ingredient in Priligy is dapoxetine, which is classed as a fast-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).
It works by increasing the levels of a chemical called serotonin in the body, causing a delayed reaction in the areas of the brain responsible for triggering ejaculation.
Scientifically speaking, serotonin has a lot to do with sexual arousal and orgasmic activity.
This means that reaching orgasm after taking Priligy takes longer.
Priligy is a small tablet for the treatment of rapid ejaculation and should be taken with a full glass of water on either a full or empty stomach. You should not drink alcohol after taking Priligy.
Priligy should be taken between 1 and 3 hours before sex and is effective for up to 12 hours. It is a fast acting medicine meaning very low chance of long lasting side effects, it is estimated that only 5% of the drug is left in the body after 24 hours.

Priligy is the only prescription treatment for premature ejaculation available in the UK.
But if Priligy tablets aren’t for you, we recommend you look at the desensitising Stud 100 delay spray. Stud 100 is a quick-acting numbing spray which is sprayed onto the penis before sex. The reduced sensitivity is what results in delayed ejaculation.

Other methods that can work to delay ejaculation include using condoms, there are condoms designed to reduce sensitivity, changing position or practising “the squeeze technique”.
