Indivina (Estradiol/Medroxyprogesterone) 1mg Tablets 84 is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) which contains two female hormones an Oestrogen (1mg) -Estradiol and a Progestogen-Medroxyprogesterone (5mg). It is used to relieve the symptoms occurring after menopause in menopausal women with at least 3 years since their last natural period.
Each pill includes both estradiol and medroxyprogesterone, allowing for the daily administration of a dose of each hormone. This kind of HRT does not bring on a monthly menstrual bleed.
Oestrogen production by a woman's body decreases throughout menopause. Symptoms including a heated face, neck, and chest may result from this ("hot flushes"). After menopause, Indivina reduces these signs and symptoms. Only if your symptoms substantially interfere with your daily life will you be given an Indivina prescription.
Indivina is suitable for women with womb and ovaries intact.
