Clindamycin + Benzoyl Peroxide Gel contains two medicines: clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide. These medicines belong to a group of medicines known as ‘anti-acne preparations’, they treat mild to moderate acne.
Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria involved in acne from reproducing and benzoyl peroxide reduces blackheads and whiteheads, also killing bacteria involved with acne.
Used together in Clindamycin + Benzoyl Peroxide Gel, these medicines work by fighting the bacteria that can cause acne by treating existing blackheads, whiteheads, and spots and lowering the number of red, inflamed acne spots
