Finacea is a topical gel containing azelaic acid, which is a naturally occurring acid. Azelaic acid helps the skin to renew itself more quickly and therefore reduces pimples and blackheads formation. It also helps to kill the bacteria that cause acne and rosacea.
It may take up to 4 weeks or longer before your symptoms improve. Keep using Finacea gel as directed, if your symptoms do not improve after 12 weeks of treatment tell your doctor.
This product should be kept out of reach and sight of children. It should not be stored above 30 degrees Celsius.

How to use Finacea (azelaic acid) 15% Gel 30g for acne and rosacea
Apply Finacea gel TWICE a day, in the morning and at bedtime.
Do not cover the area after applying Finacea gel. Doing so may cause too much of the medicine to be absorbed by the body and could be harmful to you.

Side effects of Finacea (azelaic acid) 15% Gel 30g for acne and rosacea
You should not use Finacea if you are allergic to azelaic acid or propylene glycol.
Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur while taking azelaic acid topical:

Burning, stinging, or tingling of the skin
dryness, itching, peeling, or redness of the skin
Less common side effects
Blistering, burning, crusting, dryness, or flaking of the skin
scaling, severe redness, soreness, or swelling of the skin
