Hezkue Sildenafil Oral Spray 30ml

Hezkue Sildenafil oromucosal spray is a prescription treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED), helping men achieve firmer, longer-lasting erections. It contains sildenafil, the same active ingredient used in standard Sildenafil tablets, but is delivered as a spray inside the mouth rather than swallowed as a pill.

This medicine isn't intended to replace tablets for everyone, but offers an alternative if you dislike tablets, find them difficult to swallow, or want a more flexible way to adjust your dose.

Each 30 ml bottle contains enough medicine for between 5 and 20 doses depending on your prescribed strength, so one bottle can last several weeks.

Product Information for Hezkue Sildenafil Oral Spray

How does Sildenafil spray work?

Hezkue is a PDE5 inhibitor and works the same way as other sildenafil medicines. It helps relax blood vessels in the penis, allowing more blood to flow in during sexual stimulation (1). This increased blood flow is what helps you get and maintain an erection.

Unlike tablets, the spray delivers sildenafil through the lining of the mouth (the oromucosal route), where it is absorbed directly into the bloodstream rather than passing through the digestive system. It should start working 30 to 60 minutes after use, which is similar to sildenafil tablets.

As with all sildenafil treatments, the Hezkue spray doesn’t cause an automatic erection. Sexual stimulation is required for the medicine to work.

Benefits of the spray format

Hezkue Sildenafil spray may be suitable if you have difficulty getting or keeping an erection. The benefits are:

  • Fast absorption detected within 5 minutes vs. Viagra® tablets (2)*

  • Spray format for people who prefer not to swallow tablets or find tablets uncomfortable or difficult

  • Allows precise dose control using measured sprays (each spray delivers exactly 12.5 mg, so you can match standard sildenafil tablet strengths)

  • Discreet, portable and doesn't require water

*In a pharmacokinetic study of 52 fasted healthy male volunteers comparing 100 mg Hezkue spray with 100 mg Viagra tablets (Kaplan et al. 2024). The clinical significance of earlier absorption has not been evaluated.

It can be a helpful alternative if you are already familiar with sildenafil and want a different way to take it.

Who can and cannot use this medicine

The Hezkue Sildenafil spray is suitable for most adult men aged 18 or over with erectile dysfunction. However, you should not use this medicine if you (6):

  • Take nitrates or nicorandil for chest pain

  • Use poppers (combining these with sildenafil can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure)

  • Have severe heart or blood pressure problems

  • Have had a recent heart attack or stroke

  • Have severe liver impairment

  • Have loss of vision in one eye

  • Have low blood pressure (below 90/50 mmHg)

  • Take riociguat, a medicine used for pulmonary arterial hypertension

You may need extra medical advice before using this treatment if you take alpha-blockers or medicines that affect how sildenafil is broken down in the body, have certain eye conditions or visual disorders, or have Peyronie’s disease or another condition that affects the shape of the penis.

Drinking alcohol can temporarily impair your ability to get an erection. You are advised not to drink excessive amounts of alcohol before taking this medicine (5).

This is why an online consultation is required. A doctor will be able to check your health, current medicines, and symptoms to make sure Hezkue is safe and appropriate for you.

How to use Hezkue Sildenafil Oral Spray

It's recommended to use the spray approximately 60 minutes before you plan to have sex (3). You can take it with or without food, however taking it after a heavy meal may delay how quickly it starts to work. For this reason, some people prefer to use it on an empty stomach.

Before using the spray, check your dose so you know how many sprays you need. Most men are advised to start with four sprays (50 mg) (3). Depending on how the medicine works for you, this may be reduced to two sprays (25 mg), especially with certain medical conditions, or increased to a maximum of eight sprays (100 mg).

You also need to prime the pump before each use to make sure it delivers the correct dose. To do this:

  1. Shake the bottle to mix the suspension

  2. Remove the lid and replace it with the dosage cap

  3. Press the pump three times to activate it

  4. If any medicine is released, discard it

Your spray is now ready to use. Open your mouth and spray the number of sprays prescribed by your doctor against the inside of your cheek. Swallow straight away. It’s important not to take more than your prescribed dose and not to take more than 100mg in 24 hours. Always read the full instruction and usage leaflet before using.

If you accidentally take too much, seek medical advice straight away.

Once opened, the bottle should be used within 10 months (5). It does not require any special storage conditions, but should be kept out of the reach of children.
