Elocon 0.1% 30g Ointment. Relieve intense itchy and painful effects of Psorasis and reduce red swelling. This medication is a topical corticosteroid and includes the active ingredient Mometasone Furoate. Dosage is typically a thin layer of Elocon Ointment gently rubbed into the affected area of skin once a day.
Elocon Ointment 0.1% 30g (Mometasone) contains the active ingredient Mometasone Furoate 0.1%.
Elocon Ointment 0.1% 30g (Mometasone) should be kept out of reach and sight of children. It should not be stored above 25 degrees celcius.

When using Elocon Ointment 0.1% 30g (Mometasone) be sure to follow the doctors instructions and read the patient infromation leaflet before using. Wash your hands before each use. A thin layer should be gently rubbed into the affected area of skin once a day. Do not use the ointment on your face for more than 5 days. Do not apply the ointment to children, on any part of their body, for more than 5 days. Do not use in or around your eyes, including eye-lids
The active ingredient in Elocon Ointment 0.1% 30g (Mometasone) is Mometasone Furoate 0.1%. The other ingredients are hexylene glycol; purified water; phosphoric acid; propylene glycol stearate; white bees wax; white soft paraffin.

Do not use Elocon Ointment 0.1% 30g (Mometasone) if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or for any skin condition other then the one(s) it has been prescribed for.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Stop using immediately and contact your doctor if you notice signs of an allergic reaction.
As with all medicines Elocon Ointment 0.1% 30g (Mometasone) can cause side effects, althougth not everybody gets them. All known side effects will be listed in thepatient information leaflet provided with the product. If you experience any of the side effects in the patient information leaflet or ones which are not listed in the patient information leaflet contact your doctor or pharmacist.
