Buy Ovex tablets online in the UK
Where can I buy Ovex?
You can buy Ovex over the counter from Oxford Online Pharmacy to treat threadworm.
This family pack contains 4 tablets to treat up to 4 people. One tablet should be sufficient to kill threadworms although it doesn’t always destroy the threadworm eggs. This is why we suggest that all members of the family should be treated at the same time to prevent re-infection.
What are Threadworms?
Threadworms also known as Pinworms, are tiny parasitic worms that infect the large intestine.
Threadworms infect the gut and lay eggs around the anus which causes itchiness. Threadworms are common but are not usually serious. They are common among children and can spread easily. Treatment such as Ovex is available without the need to consult a doctor.
How do you know you have threadworms?
Threadworms can be identified in faeces; they resemble small pieces of white thread. Additionally, they may be visible around the anus, particularly during the night when the individual is asleep.
Recognising the symptoms
Other symptoms may accompany the presence of threadworms, such as:
- Intense itching around the anus or vagina, especially at night
- Irritability and disrupted sleep patterns, with frequent awakenings during the night
Less common signs of a worm infestation include:
- Weight loss
- Bedwetting
- Irritation of the skin surrounding the anus
