Typically Oestrogel 80g and Utrogestan 100mg capsules are used alongside each other.

For women who receive estrogen replacement therapy such as Oestrogel, there is an increased risk of endometrial cancer which can be countered by progesterone (Utrogestan) administration.

We are offering this monthly combi pack which includes both estrogen and progesterone replacements at a discounted price (a saving of £14.00) compared to purchasing them separately.

Oestrogel (Estriol) 80g - Individual price: £23.99

Oestrogel is a topical HRT that only includes 750 micrograms of estradiol, a form of the hormone oestrogen. Oestrogel is a highly effective way to lessen menopausal symptoms, leaving you feeling more comfortable so you can keep on enjoying life.

It is supplied as a gel that is applied to the skin, it can be easily adjusted compared to patches.

Estradiol, an oestrogen bioidentical, is found in oestrogel. It is administered to the skin, and after being absorbed into the bloodstream, the hormone oestrogen levels increase and significantly lessen symptoms.

See the patient information leaflet here: Oestrogel 80g (estriol)

Utrogestan 100mg Capsules - Individual price: £29.99

Progesterone is present in the capsule known as Utrogestan 100mg. When used in conjunction with an oestrogen-containing pill, it is known as combined hormone replacement treatment (HRT).

For some women, using HRT can help with uncomfortable menopausal symptoms like hot flushes, depression, and dry vagina. Women exhibiting perimenopausal symptoms may also take HRT.

When used with oestrogens (i.e., combined hormone replacement therapy), such as Oestrogel, is appropriate for women with an intact uterus or womb. It is not a method of birth control.

Utrogestan 100mg capsules should only be taken orally.

Message From Our Pharmacist

All hormone replacement therapy should be initiated after a discussion with a health care professional face to face as they will also need to take your blood pressure and weight. Blood tests may also be requested. This is followed after three months with a follow-up appointment. Online prescribing can only be done once this has happened.
