Betnovate (Betamthasone Valerate) 0.1% Cream 30g†is a topically applied corticosteriod which contains the active ingredient†betamethasone (0.1% w/w) as valerate. It†is used to help reduce the redness and itchiness of certain skin problems.
Betnovate (Betamthasone Valerate) 0.1% Cream 30g†should be kept out of reach and sight of children. It should not be stored above 25 degrees celcius.

When using†Betnovate (Betamthasone Valerate) 0.1% Cream 30g†be sure to follow the doctors instructions and read the patient infromation leaflet before using. Wash your hands before and unless it is being used on the hands, after each use.†Apply a thin layer to the affected area(s) and gently rub into the skin until it has all disappeared. You can measure how much Betnovate to use with your fingertip. For children you will need to use less cream but still use an adult finger to measure out the fingertip unit.
The active ingredient in†Betnovate (Betamthasone Valerate) 0.1% Cream 30g†is†betamethasone (0.1% w/w) as valerate.†The other ingredients are chlorocresol, cetomacrogol 1000, cetostearyl alcohol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, sodium acid phosphate, phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide and purified water.

Do not†Betnovate (Betamthasone Valerate) 0.1% Cream 30g†if you are†allergic to any of its ingredients or for any skin condition other then the one(s) it has been prescribed for.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using†this medicine.
Stop using immediately and contact your doctor if you notice signs of an allergic reaction.
As with all medicines†Betnovate (Betamthasone Valerate) 0.1% Cream 30g†can cause side effects, althougth not everybody gets them. All known side effects will be listed in thepatient information leaflet provided with the product.†If you experience any of the side effects in the patient information leaflet†or ones which are not listed in the patient information leaflet contact your doctor or pharmacist.
