Dermovate Scalp Application (clobetasol) 30ml for psoriasis

The scalp solution should be applied sparingly to the areas of the scalp that need treating using the nozzle of the container.

You can rub the liquid into your scalp if you wish, but then leave it to dry.

The clobetasol will be left on the scalp - it should not be washed off

Owing to the flammable nature of the product, Dermovate Scalp Application should be kept away from open fire and flames and all sources of ignition, including smoking, during and immediately after use.

Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people)

• a feeling of burning, pain, irritation or itching where the scalp application is applied

Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people)

• skin thinning, which may cause stretch marks
• blood vessels under the surface of your skin may become more noticeable

Very Rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people)

Use of Dermovate for a long period of time, or use under an airtight dressing, may cause the following symptoms:

• increased weight
• changes to the colour of your skin
• increased body hair
• moon face, rounding of the face
• skin wrinkling
• skin dryness
• hair loss/lack of hair growth/damaged looking hair
• obesity
• skin thinning
