The prescription-only product mometasone cream is a topical corticosteroid it contains the active ingredient mometasone furoate 0.1%. It is used on the surface of the skin to reduce the redness and itchiness caused by certain skin problems.
Mometasone cream is used to treat the redness and itching produced by psoriasis and dermatitis in adults and children aged 2 to 18 years.
Psoriasis is a skin condition that causes itchy, scaly, pink spots to appear on the elbows, knees, scalp, and other regions of the body. Dermatitis is a disorder caused by the skin's reaction to external substances such as detergents, causing it to become red and itchy.
Mometasone cream should be kept out of reach and sight of children. It should not be stored above 25 degrees celcius.

How to use Mometasone Furoate Cream 0.1% 30g
When using Mometasone Cream 0.1% be sure to follow the doctors instructions and read the patient information leaflet before using.
Wash your hands before each use.
A thin layer should be gently rubbed into the affected area of skin once a day.
Side effects of Mometasone Furoate Cream 0.1% 30g

Do not use Mometasone Cream 0.1% if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or for any skin condition other then the one(s) it has been prescribed for.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Stop using immediately and contact your doctor if you notice signs of an allergic reaction.
As with all medicines Mometasone Cream 0.1% can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. All known side effects will be listed in the patient information leaflet provided with the product. If you experience any of the side effects in the patient information leaflet or ones which are not listed in the patient information leaflet contact your doctor or pharmacist.
