The Piriteze Hayfever & Allergy Syrup is used to treat allergies such as pet, house dust mite, and mould spore allergies as well as the allergic symptoms of hayfever (itchy or watery eyes, sneezing, and a runny nose). It can also be used to soothe the itching and rashes associated with chronic urticaria (hives).
Cetirizine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that can help to reduce the symptoms of some allergies and itchy skin rashes, is the product's active ingredient.
The 70ml bottle contains non-drowsy Cetirizine 1mg/1ml in sugar-free banana favour and is suitable for adults and children over the age of 6.

How to use Piriteze Children's Hayfever and Allergy Syrup 70ml
Dosage: for ORAL use only.
Using the spoon provided please make sure you have the correct dose.
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: TWO 5ml spoonfuls ONCE daily.
Children aged 6 to 12: One 5ml spoonful TWICe a day - morning and evening.
Children under 6: not recommended.

Piriteze Allergy Syrup Side Effects
Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people):
Headache or dizziness, drowsiness or tiredness,
restlessness, dry mouth, sore throat, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea [feeling sick], runny nose.
Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people):
Agitation, weakness, malaise, pins and needles, itching, rash or hives.
Rare (may affect up to 1 in 1,000 people):
Aggression, depression, weight gain, swelling, insomnia, movement disorders including tremor, muscle spasm and tics.
Very Rare (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people):
Taste disorder, low blood platelets count, blurred vision, eye movement disorder, difficult or painful or involuntary urination.
It is important you do not exceed the stated dose and keep out of sight and reach of children.
