Fluorouracil and salicylic acid are the active ingredients in Actikerall.
Fluorouracil belongs to a class of drugs known as antimetabolites, which limit cell proliferation (cytostatic agent). Salicylic acid is a skin softening agent.
Actikerall is a medication used to treat actinic keratosis (grade I/II) in adults who have a healthy immune system.
Actinic keratoses are skin patches that are crusty, scaly, or crumbly. They could be red, light brown, or the same hue as your skin. They may be dry or harsh to the touch, and it is sometimes easier to feel rather than see.
These skin alterations are more common in those who have been exposed to a lot of sunlight.

How to use Actikerall Solution 25ml
Always follow your doctor's instructions when taking this medication. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Dosage
Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, apply Actikerall once daily.
If you have actinic keratosis in a thin skin area, such as around the eyes or temples, your doctor may advise you to use Actikerall less regularly. If severe adverse effects occur, limit medicine application frequency to three times per week until the side effects improve. Your doctor may also need to monitor your treatment more frequently.
Administration Method
To be applied to the skin (cutaneous usage).
Gently peel off the white film left on your skin from the previous day's treatment (unless this is your first time using this medicine). Warm water may aid in the removal of the coating.
To open the bottle, press and turn the lid.
Wipe the brush in the bottle neck to remove any surplus solution. While allowing for enough product to produce a film upon drying.
Once a day, dab the solution on the actinic keratosis.
Multiple actinic keratoses (up to ten lesions) can be treated at the same time, but not on vast expanses of skin.
At any given time, the total area of skin treated with Actikerall should not exceed 25 cm2 (5 cm x 5 cm).
Wait for the solution to dry and create a film.
Do not apply a dressing.
Tightly close the bottle to prevent it from drying out. Actikerall should not be used if it becomes dry. If you observe any crystals, do not use Actikerall.
Do not apply to hairy skin since the hair in the skin area where Actikerall is applied sticks together, making it difficult to remove the film. Prior to applying to hairy skin, a shave or other acceptable hair removal treatment should be explored.
