Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo treats and prevents dandruff. The shampoo contains ketoconazole, an antifungal that targets an overabundance of yeasts on the skin known as Malassezia. These yeasts are found naturally on everyone's skin, however persons with dandruff appear to have more Malassezia.
The shampoo also relieves the inflammation caused by dandruff, reducing redness and irritation on the scalp.
This product is intended for adults and teenagers above the age of 12.
