Almogran 12.5mg tablets are a selective serotonin receptor agonist, which is a class of drugs used to treat migraines. By interacting with serotonin receptors and causing them to tighten, Almogran is believed to lessen the inflammatory response connected to migraines.

How to use Almogran (Almotriptan) 12.5mg 6 Tablets

Almogran should not be used to prevent migraine attacks or headaches; rather, it should only be used to treat an actual migraine episode.

Always take this medication exactly as directed by your doctor. If you're unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults (18-65 years old)

One 12.5 mg pill is the suggested dosage, and it should be taken as soon as the migraine attack begins. Do not take more than one tablet for the same migraine attack if it persists.

A second 12.5 mg tablet may be taken if you experience a second migraine episode within 24 hours, but you must wait at least two hours between taking the first and second tablets.

Within a 24-hour period, two (12.5 mg) pills are the maximum daily intake.

The tablet(s) can be taken with or without meals, and they should be ingested with liquid (such as water).

Although it is still helpful if taken later, Almogran should be taken as soon as possible after the migraine's onset.
