The active ingredient in Nebido is testosterone, a male hormone. Nebido is injected into your body's muscle. It can be stored there and gradually released over time.
Nebido is a testosterone replacement therapy used in adult men to address a variety of health conditions caused by a lack of testosterone (male hypogonadism). These should be confirmed by two separate blood testosterone measures, as well as clinical symptoms such as: impotence, infertility, poor sex drive, weariness, melancholy moods, and bone loss due to low hormone levels.

How to use Nebido 1000mg/4ml solution for injection
Your doctor will progressively inject Nebido (1 ampoule / vial) into a muscle. He or she will provide the shots every 10 to 14 weeks. This is sufficient to maintain adequate testosterone levels without causing a buildup of testosterone in the blood.
Nebido is only intended for intramuscular injection. To avoid injection into a blood vessel, special precautions will be taken.
