How to use Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule (fluconazole)
If your doctor has recommended Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule for you, follow any directions he or she has given you. If you bought this product without a prescription, carefully follow these instructions:
A single Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule is used to treat the entire course of treatment.
The capsule should be consumed whole with a glass of water (with or without meal) to treat thrush at the site of infection.
Thrush symptoms should go away within two days of treatment. You must notify your doctor if there is no improvement after seven days. If the infection reappears after seven days, another capsule may be taken; however, if you have more than two infections in six months, consult your doctor.
Side effects of Canesten Thrush Oral Capsule (fluconazole)
Common side effects (may affect up to 1 in 10 people) are:
headache
increases in blood tests of liver function
rash
stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, feeling sick, vomiting
Only Suitable for adults aged 16-60.
