Muse pellets are used for the treatment of men with erectile dysfunction, which is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual performance. The treatment comes in the form of a urethral applicator inserted into the penis to help with erectile dysfunction. For an erection: The usual starting dose is 500 micrograms.
Do not use more than 2 doses in one day (24-hour period) or more than 7 doses in 1 week.

Very common side effects:
- Burning feeling in the urethra
- Painful penis
Common possible side effects
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Muscle spasms
- Low blood pressure
- Minor bleeding in the urethra
- Pain in the testes
- Burning or itching in partner’s vagina

- Increased erection
- Peyronie’s disease (condition resulting in pain and abnormal curvature, shortening or narrowing of the penis).
