Kaolin clay gives you control over shape and style, caffeine may stimulate your scalp to encourage hair growth (1), while biotin has been shown to support hair strength and thickness in people with deficiency (2). Sons Thickening Clay is often combined with other Son’s products, such as Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner to enhance the overall health and appearance of your hair.

What is Sons Thickening Clay?
Sons Thickening Clay is a cosmetic styling product from the Sons range. Designed specifically for men with fine, thinning or flat hair, it’s a medium-hold product that adds volume, texture and strength to your hair while also providing a natural, matte finish that lasts.
How does Sons Thickening Clay work?
Sons Thickening Clay works in two ways. First, the kaolin clay coats each strand of hair to add body and grip that enables you to style your hair in the way that you like. By lifting the hair away from your scalp, it helps to create a shape that makes your hair appear thicker and fuller.
While on your hair, the formula of ingredients helps to deliver active ingredients of caffeine and biotin to your scalp and hair follicles.
There is some evidence to suggest that caffeine can be beneficial in stimulating hair growth in men who have male pattern baldness, where it is thought to counteract the effects of testosterone on hair follicles (3).
Meanwhile Biotin, which is a B vitamin, has proven benefits for hair strength and condition in people found to be deficient (2).
For best results, combine with Sons Strengthening Shampoo and Sons Strengthening Conditioner to enhance hair vitality.

How to use Sons Thickening Hair Clay 75ml
Son’s Thickening Clay is quick and easy to use, and you can use it on dry or damp hair.
Scoop out a pea-sized amount of clay and rub it between your palms to warm it up. This will help it to spread easily through your hair.
Apply it to your hair from the roots to the ends. Pay special attention to the areas that look the thinnest or flattest.
Shape and style your hair in your desired style.
If you need to add more to build your hair up further, restart the process.
How to store Sons Thickening Clay
Store your Son’s Thickening Clay in a cool dry place. Avoid keeping it in your bathroom, as heat and steam can alter the consistency and texture of the clay.
Keep the lid firmly closed to stop it from drying out between uses.
Store it out of direct sunlight.
Be sure to use it before the expiry date.
Side effects of Sons Thickening Hair Clay 75ml
As with any new product you are trialling, discontinue use if you experience:

Avoid contact with your eyes. If you do get any in your eyes, wash them well with warm water.
